Starbucks offering half-off drinks on Fridays, more deals during month of May

Starbucks has some new deals to snag throughout May with the Summer App-y Days promotions.
Starting May 10 and every Friday during the month of May, Starbucks customers can get 50% off a standard handcrafted beverage from noon to 6 p.m. at participating stores. To get the deal, customers can look for it in their Starbucks app, a news release said.
The Friday deal has a one beverage per customer limit during the promotion. A handcrafted beverage at Starbucks includes any drink that is not hot tea or hot brewed coffee.

More summer deals
Staring May 13, Starbucks Rewards Members will see personalized offers in the app every Monday. Offers may include Triple Star Days, BOGO deals and drink discounts, the news release said. The deals will appear in the "offers" tab of the Starbucks app.
Also through the end of May, customers who download the Starbucks app and sign up by clicking on the "New Members Get 50% Off" link will receive 50% off a handcrafted drink of their choice anytime during their first week as a new member.

Starbucks has been pushing its new summer drinks with 50% deals during the noon-to-6 p.m. time frame.
Some of the coffee chain's new offerings include:
- Summer-Berry: Starbucks describes the drink as "a sweet summer blend of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavors, shaken with ice and poured over raspberry-flavored pearls that deliver a delicate and deliciously sweet burst of summer fun." A grande drink has 110 calories, 25 grams of sugar and 0 grams of fat.
- Summer-Berry with Lemonade: Lemonade with raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavors, shaken with ice and poured over raspberry-flavored pearls. Grande: 160 calories, 37g sugar, 0g fat.
- Summer Skies Drink: Those berry flavors mixed with coconut milk, shaken with ice served on raspberry-flavored pearls. Grande: 150 calories, 29g sugar, 2.5g fat.
- White Chocolate Macadamia Cold Brew: is made with sweet macadamia syrup and topped with white chocolate macadamia cream cold foam and toasted cookie crumbles.
