For everyone missing the joy and emotional makeovers from Fab Five on their screens, the latest season of "Queer Eye" is set to return this week.
Season 8 of "Queer Eye," the feel-good reality makeover show, will return to Netflix Wednesday with its five hosts, also known as the Fab Five: Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski and Tan France.
According to the season description from Netflix, the Fab Five are "dropping into the lives of a former nun, the world’s biggest Kiss fan and the football coach for the Louisiana School for the Deaf," among others.
This is also the last season to feature Berk, the show's design expert. In November, Berk announced he will be departing the show after Season 8, writing on social media the decision to exit was a "necessary one."
Here's what to know about Season 8 of "Queer Eye."
When is the Season 8 premiere of 'Queer Eye'?
All six episodes of Season 8 of the show will premiere on Jan. 24.
The show is a 2018 revival of the Bravo reality series, first broadcast in 2003 as "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," later known just as "Queer Eye."
How to watch 'Queer Eye' Season 8
All six episodes of the latest season will be able to stream on Netflix at once. The streaming service is also the home of the previous seven seasons of the show, as well as two special seasons.
Where was 'Queer Eye' Season 8 filmed?
"Queer Eye" Season 8 was filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana and features six new "heroes" in need of a makeover, both physical and emotional.
The show's previous seasons have taken the Fab Five to makeovers in other U.S. cities and countries, including Austin, Texas, Atlanta, Georgia, New South Wales, Australia and Tokyo, Japan.
Netflix announced that the show has already been renewed for Season 9 and will be set in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Who are the hosts of 'Queer Eye'?
The Fab Five consists of Bobby Berk as the design expert, Antoni Porowski as the food and drink expert, Jonathan Van Ness as the grooming expert, Karamo Brown as the culture and lifestyle expert and Tan France as the fashion expert.
The hosts have been with the show since its 2018 revival. Berk announced in November that Season 8 will be his last with "Queer Eye." His replacement has not yet been announced.
"It's with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on 'Queer Eye,'" Berk wrote on social media. "It's not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one. Although my journey with 'Queer Eye' is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon."
